Amazon moves New World again and that's a good thing

The era of release shifts continues. Amazon's MMO New World gets a new start date for the fourth time. The recently finished beta has still revealed some weaknesses that Amazon wants to eradicate with a bit more time.

A few days ago, the Closed Beta ended from Amazon for MMO New World . The original release date was the 31st of August, this moves by exactly four weeks. Via Twitter, Amazon Games published a statement:

The new release date is the 28 . September 2021 and is therefore the fourth shift from New World. The developer justifies the renewed delay with the enormous feedback from the Beta successful for Amazon Games from New World. Over a million players are to participate in the test run and have submitted many suggestions for improvement. To resolve as many bugs as possible and increase stability, Amazon Games needs another four weeks.

As someone who played the beta, I have to say The shift is little surprising . There were even a few real problems that have led to server and stability issues, and there were still different bugs and many exploits in New World. Regardless of what you personally believe from content, a release is already problematic under this point of view alone. But these are problems with the game, as it currently exists. Of course, it is hardly possible to remove content in eight weeks of content, but a largely clean game ** without exploits and bugs, which significantly affect the existing gaming experience is feasible through the feedback from the beta.

New World: The Final Preview

Those who are satisfied with the basic game concept of New World should see the shift as a positive message.
