National player Moritz Wagner has signed a new contract on the Orlando Magic on Monday (local time) and thus in Florida with his younger brother on basket hunt. Franz Wagner had been completed by the Club at Eighth at the end of July.
Shortly thereafter, Moritz Wagner (24) had agreed according to media reports with the Magic on a two-year contract. However, the franchise made the deal officially officially - without information at runtime. The Berliner had landed at the end of the past season in Orlando after the Boston Celtics had separated from him. Previously, he had been submitted by the Washington Wizards to Boston.
For Orlando, Moe Wagner came to eleven inserts, ten of them as a starter. He achieved an average of eleven points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.1 assists. Most recently, the 2.11 m man was in use at the Olympic Games in Tokyo. With the German national team, the former college player reached the quarterfinals against Slovenia (70:94), in which Luka Doncic & Co. were a number too big.
Franz Wagner (19) had been completed as early as well as Detlef Schrusm. Even Dirk Nowitzki, in 1998, gone as a number nine to the Milwaukee Bucks, he put in the shadows.
