Matt makes games Celeste is the latest free game in the Epic Games Store as part of the 12 Days of Free Games initiative. It is only free until 9 o'clock PST. Hurry up and request your free copy. Note that you need an EPIC Games Store account to claim it.

After publication in 2018 Celeste is one of the best platform players and a top animal title for themselves. It tells the story of Madeline traveling to the Celestain Mountain to reach the summit. What she does not expect is the encounter with strange entities, brutal puzzles and their alter ego, Badeline, which represents their negativity.

Celeste is praised by criticism for their history and art style as well as for their narrative. You can read our review here for more information. There was recently free DLC in the form of kapitel 9: Lebewohl. Take a look at the store tomorrow - after the joke it looks like Königreich can be the next free title.
