Cristiano Ronaldo at Manchester United No more CR7? Swirls for jersey number after change

Cristiano Ronaldos Time as CR7 could tend to end after his return to Manchester United. Because his trademark, wearing the back number seven, forbid the Premier League Regulations Current.

At the Red Devils, Edinson Cavani carries the number seven on his back, say: Ronaldo's number is already forgiven and that should not change either.

Rule M4 and M5 of the Premier League say that a player retains the number assigned to him throughout the season. Only if a player who has left the club may re-assign the back number. In case of violation of these rules threaten the club penalties. But it is possible that United could ask for a special permit.

Cavani has another contract at United until 2022, a premature disposal of the Uruguayer was not an issue last. With regard to his back number seven, he already showed himself at Jadon Sancho. Sancho, who was changed to the Red Devils in the summer of BVB, now bears the 25, because the cross sum results in the seven.

If the Matador is also tough at Ronaldo and also the Premier League can not be softened with respect to their regulations, the 36-year-old could lead to the 28. He carried this back number in his first profi year at Sporting Lisbon.

After switching to Manchester United, Ronaldo had always worn the number seven since his change to Manchester United in 2003 to Real Madrid. In the 2009/10 season, this wore in the royal still clusbare Raul, who switched to Schalke 04 only a year later. In his first year for Real, Ronaldo ran with the nine.
