Overcoooked, A Way Out, It Takes Two and Co. - There are many great co-op games that you can spend the time. In most cases, one sits next to each other on the couch and tries by arrangement and coordination to achieve a certain goal or to solve puzzles. So we fried in the mentioned games about burgers or broke out of prison.
We can not remember to have managed a post office ever cooperatively. This gap now fills Keywe. Not unusual enough? Well, we do not manage people, but kiwis; Not the delicious fruits, but the flying flight, small birds from New Zealand. Incidentally, you are not the only animals in the post office, a colleague is about an octopus. Why not!
Whether that - Attention, Wordwitz! - Vogelwild adventure also goodbye, read in our test.

Down is the post!
Plants want to hold you from work. Source: StoneWheeat & Sons The diligent bird watchers and bird researchers among you will be known that the anatomy of the national animals of New Zealand is difficult to compare with that of man. Without hands of letters to send, namely could be considered complicated. So, instead we use the beak to pitch letters and to do all sorts of other tasks.
Unless you might be suspected, Keywe is not a co-opiable sausage à la overcooked, at least not exclusively. Yes, you have to react quickly and errors are punished. In addition, however, it is important to solve puzzles in the context of a time limits, often those who put on word games and the correct assembly of sentences, um.
The different orders are not necessarily diverse. For example, we type messages in the typewriter, removing letters with which badges must be equipped with various packages, or set the word choppers to sentences.
In the singleplayer, both kiwis is checked at the same time or switches from one to another at the touch of a button. Both are not optimal and just when the time runs away, it would be good to know which bird you just control. If you fall the hundredth time from the table, that can be frustrating.
Work routine
Since your birds can not fly, the parachute must be handled. Source: StoneWheeat & Sons basically all tasks repeat again and again, but they are becoming more demanding through additional elements. Flying beetles - disgusting coaches! - Claw you in the snippet mini-game the words, or instead of one you have to write two messages at the same time. This is really innovative that is not and if a virtually identical task is already at the third time on the workplace in the post office, where we start the levels, that s why it takes for eye roles.
Unfortunately, you will fail more often than you love, and not necessarily because of the headnuts, which by the way are not very complicated. Instead, it is at the time very often short-dimensioned time, but even more often at the unfavorable perspective. Then you think about, you are just on the device, with which you can cut words (yes, realistic is not possible in this post office), but instead falls from the table, because you just have not seen exactly what s exactly before happened.
at night in the office
The most fun do the overtime in the post office; Small mini-games where you can unlock cosmetic items or collective objects. Here, for example, you feed the accumulated casuars, for example, organizes a snowball battle or take part in a hurdle. Here the challenges vary significantly more than during the actual postal work. With each completed working day, your stamps earns. How many depends on how fast you solve the puzzles. The brands can be invested in the appearance of your birds by equipping them with glasses, hats, backpacks and even plumage. Although not a playful added value, these adhesions do not offer, but it just looks cute when Jeff and Debra (yes, the kiwis have names) with oversized retro eyewear through the post office. Individualizes your kiwis. Source: stonewheat & sons
Summer fall Winter
From a certain number of enabled puzzles, the season changes. Summer, autumn and winter do not only differ with regard to the design of the levels, but also with regard to the degree of difficulty. Because the seasons have playful effects. Wind carries your words of words, milling tapes freeze and need to be thawed, or your beeps sink after a sandstorm in the sand. Very intense weather fluctuations!
It haunts in the post office. Source: StoneWheat & Sons on holidays Like Halloween and Christmas, the post office is cute and special tasks are waiting for you. Instead of parcels, we horried with biscuits, such only optical differences are unfortunately already the highest of feelings.
It s fun to experience the impact of different seasons. However, this fun often transforms into frustration when, for example, within three seconds, after freezing the workplace of ice, new ice is already attached. Especially in singleplayer mode that can be very annoying.
A kiwi rarely comes alone
Keywe (Buy Now 29.99 €) is clearly designed for two players, and so you should experience it. Each player takes control of one of the two birds. As a result, much of the frustration falls that the individual player control brings with him; Problems like the unfavorable perspective and the scarce time limits remain.
Fortunately, real bugs did not exist during our game run, smaller bugs, such as edges-hanging packages, darkened the gaming experience hardly. Another blemish ensured significantly more trouble.
Casafe feeding is one of the funniest mini-games. Source: StoneWheeat & Sons if you are powerful by the English language, we strongly recommend to play in English. Not, because the German version is badly set down, but because we did not continue in the game in the game. In one of the wordcular puzzles, certain shreds were cut at the wrong place and we were not possible for us to end the level. Although the next patch is to fix this problem until then we attach the English version to the heart.
Keywe was published on August 31 for PC and Nintendo Switch. Versions for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X / S and Xbox One follow in foreseeable time.
My opinion

No high flyer, but still fun
As a long-established singleplayer, I surprisingly had a lot of pleasure with Keywe, as the coop can talk to a friend pretty well - at least the first hours. In principle, this is based on the easy-to-understand tasks that will gradually become more challenging. With the ever-repeating puzzles, however, sometimes a little boredom occurs. These boredom then turns into frustration, if you know, you have understood the principle, and yet a will miss again and again the conclusion of the level. This is then above all due to the partially hearty control and narrow time the case. Frustration and the repetitive gameplay have a little clouded the fun of this game. For a few tasks in between, however, it is quite recommended and supercasts it looks too.
