The strategy sequence, Power Chord, will start its anticipated access phase in December through Steam. The title, which encourages us to form a metal band to recover the city bars from the hands of demonic groups, uses the letters and the creation of decks to simulate a dangerous battle of bands and the effects of the different instruments. As we can see the trailer, we must choose between all a cast of characters to a drummer, a bassist, a guitarist and a vocalist, to which we can enhance through several individual objects and improvements for their letters.
According to developers, Power Chord will spend around a year in advance phase, during which they expect to work on the different styles of play. This phase will include 5 different characters, with your full deck of letters, and the first map of history. Throughout this year they plan to launch 7 other characters, two new maps and a final boss. The creators have returned to put available through Steam the demo of the title, launched last October, so that interested players can get an idea of the state of the project.
Power Chord is being developed by the Canadian study Big Blue Bubble. Founded in 2002, and with a San Francisco headquarters, the study has worked in several mobile sagas, as well as at Apps and Children series. In 2020, they released the Foregone platform, their first title for PC and consoles, just before being purchased by the Swedish Holding EG7.
POWER CHORD will be available in advance access for PC in December.
