_ How some of you pointed out on our social networks, we were rather quiet about Sherlock Holmes Chapter One's PS4 and Xbox One versions. The good news is that we leave Sherlock Holmes Chapter One on PS4 on April 28, 2022. The bad news is that unfortunately we had to make a difficult decision regarding the Xbox One of the game. Due to circumstances. Independent of our will, the Xbox One of Chapter One has been postponed indefinitely. We explain the reasons.
From September of last year until February 2022, we worked hard to optimize our game for PC and the former and new generation consoles. During this time, we discovered that the amount of work was more important than expected. Last year, we had made the decision to publish the Xbox Series X | S and PS5 versions first, but also to work to optimize the versions of the old generation. After the exit of Chapter ONE on the current generation in October 2021, we continued to work on the optimization of PS4 and Xbox One versions. We tried to support us as much as possible on older generations. A lot of non-visible work has been done, and others more impactful like MAP changes on PS4 and Xbox One versions so that the game is more fluid (we cut some alleys, shortcuts, etc.). And while we moved closer and more and more of the finalization of these versions, the war broke out.
Direct that the war had an impact on us is probably the euphemism of the decade.
